Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Assist, communicate and coordinate with clients to resolve technical problems promptly and accurately, remotely as well as on-site.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Update and maintain instructions to repair a technical problem.
  • Learn, play, test, analyse and assess new software & products.
  • Prepare user guide and help content for the new software & products.
  • Prepare training materials for new software & products.
  • Conduct technical education and training to clients.
  • Responsible and accountable for successful resolution of technical problems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in technical support for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of GPS, GSM, automotive electronic & electrical system, web applications & IT systems would be an advantage.
  • Proactive with clear ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent drive and motivation to help others.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology or related field.

Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Engagement of stakeholders, project sponsor(s) at project initiation stage to plan and strategize the approach to ensure the project is controlled and steered towards the objective.
  • Determine project specifications by acquiring and analysing business objectives, stakeholder's requirements, product design, technical studies, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Set up working specifications for the project through project management document. Manage the contract obligations of the project and establish and form working teams.
  • Plan and schedule projects by studying project specifications, task duration and sequencing, project risks, resources requirements and any other constraints.
  • Manage, supervise and guide the project team and related parties to deliver the work accordance to specifications.
  • Control the project delivery by ensuring schedule and quality is adhered through monitoring of project progress, coordination of tasks, risk management, testing and problem solving.
  • Confirms project deliverables meets specifications by designing test procedures and conducting tests.
  • Prepare reports as an effective means to communicate with project stakeholders in regards to progress reports, request for resources and action plan for problem resolutions.
  • Responsible and accountable for successful completion of assigned projects and projects under supervision.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in project management for at least 5 years. PMP qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of GPS, GSM, Fleet management, automotive electronic & electrical system, web applications & systems and PMP methodologies would be an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in any area as follows: ColdFusion, XML, AJAX, Javascript, Apache, Suse Linux Enterprise, Web services, Servlet, PostgreSQL, JBOSS & Tomcat
  • Proactive with clear ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • An enthusiasm for creating new things and for emerging technologies.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology or related field.

Web Application Developer

Responsibilities

  • Design web application for the BSMART platform, to meet functional requirements through proper requirement study, data analysis, methodology and technology best practice analysis.
  • Develop the web application according to design approved and carry out thorough functional, load and compatibility testing.
  • Documentation of design, schedule and test results of all web application developed.
  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot developed web application as and when necessary.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in web application development for at least 1 year.
  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP programming. Would be advantageous if have experience working with Coldfusion (CFML), JBoss (JSF, JPA, EJB, BPM), AJAX, Fusebox, PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of open source solutions is advantage.
  • Proactive with clear ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • An enthusiasm for software development and emerging technologies.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Customer Service

Customer service is critical to the success the company as it is the frontline that deals with customers. Strong customer service can build sales, trust, dependability, customer relationships as well as to distinguishing ourselves from the competitors. As our business is conducted over different boundaries and countries, the customer service team will need to be able understand different cultures, religious and rituals of the customer to better communicate and relate to them.

In order to excel in this area, the customer service team is expected to interact proactively and promptly with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. The following are the list of responsibilities expected:

Interaction

  • Communicate directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Follow up on customer interactions with set deadlines.

Problem Solving

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints by obtaining as much information as possible in regards to the problem or complaint.
  • Perform verifications of the information received from customers by carrying out checks, referencing to manuals or senior personnel.
  • Problem solves the problem or complaint.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the designated resource or senior personnel.

Administrative

  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
  • Record details of actions taken.
  • Generate regular report to management.
